Seguros SURA, is a company that integrates solutions for insurance and
risk management that over the years has internalized innovation and the permanent search for technological adoptions to provide a better service to its clients has been key to the growth of its business, also allowing it to optimize processes and improve the experience of its users.
This is how Seguros SURA carries out a new Open Innovation challenge together with Innova360 to find technology-based solutions for startups or companies to address the challenge "Detection of health benefits fraud" and that seeks to increase the ability to identify potential situations fraud, predict, analyze and cluster them based on business rules to generate models that avoid them or minimize their impact. In turn, digitize key processes that facilitate the validation processes of suspicious situations without increasing the payment times to users.
In this context, a new open innovation program is launched through the use of the InnovaConnect platform, a digital ecosystem that brings together technological solutions that solve challenges of large companies at the regional level of Latam.
In solo 16 weeks they first met 18 solutions, of which 5 were shortlisted by the Innova360 team to get to a DemoDay with Sura executives, who defined HIGH ALLIANCE for running a pilot.
